In contrast to Western boxing Panantukan uses the whole body as a weapon and has a completely separate identity.
Panantukan is characterized by its effectiveness, speed, dynamics, timing, precision, and its smooth flow of movement.
Panantukan includes techniques such as beatings with fists and open hands, forearm smashes, arm wrenches, knee strikes and kicks, body levers to control the opponent as well as techniques to break the balance and rhythm of the enemy.
The roots of Panantukan are founded in cold steel or the Art of the Short Blade (Tactical Folder) which will play a large role in this workshop.
