Scott became a student of Trevor’s in 1999, and since then has trained in the arts of jeet kune do, kali, wrestling, boxing, and Gracie jiu-jitsu. Scott’s passion is for jiu-jitsu and in February of 2010 he was honoured to receive his black belt from Trevor and Megaton. Scott has recently competed at the 2009 Pans in Los Angeles where he placed third in his brown belt division. In 2011 he is planning to travel to Brazil to train and compete. Scott strives for continued improvement and feels he can learn something from everyone. Always the teacher Scott is eager to help other students improve their games, as he knows as their games improve so too will his.
“Choosing to pursue martial arts, particularly Gracie Jiu-Jitsu with Trevor, has been one of the best things I’ve ever done. I’ve made some great friends and found a great sport/activity that embodies a healthy lifestyle.”
